Before & after
The challenge
The pool was sound; everything around it was not. An unmade plot means no levels, no drainage and no route from the house to the water.
What we did
Set levels and falls across the plot, lay the paving and lawn, build the sunken seating and firepit, plant out the boundary, and run lighting so the space works after dark.
The result
The pool stops being an object dropped in sand and becomes part of a courtyard the household actually uses.
