A rusting steel railing and a cracked concrete surround, replaced with a frameless glass balustrade, a dark stone deck and a re-profiled edge that opens the terrace to the view.

The challenge
A corroded railing is a safety item first and an appearance problem second. The surrounding slab had cracked and settled, so the barrier could not simply be swapped — the deck it fixes into had to be sound.
What we did
Remove the railing, break out and recast the failed slab sections, then set a frameless glass balustrade into the new deck. Dark stone paving and a re-profiled coping finish the edge.
The result
The barrier still does its job, and the terrace reads as one space instead of being fenced off from its own view.
