The challenge
Rust streaks down a render face usually mean the reinforcement below is corroding. Patching the surface without dealing with that just hides it until next season.
What we did
Cut out the failed render, treat the exposed reinforcement, rebuild the profiles, waterproof and re-render. Renew the pipework and jets and rebalance the spill between the tiers.
The result
Water moving between the tiers again, on a structure that will not stain through in a year.
